Every year for a week in September, Recycle Now<\/a> holds Recycling Week. This year, in it's 19th year, the theme is \"Let's Get Real about Recycling\" - recognising that real people have real lives and that if we all play our part, progress will keep happening. The event was due to run from 19 to 25 September 2022 but was postponed in light of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll. So it\u2019s now taking place between 17-23 October 2022<\/strong>.

Here are the ways in which TABBY.FIREFLY is committed to the circular economy.

In short, all our products and packaging are made from natural materials. But more importantly, every garment we make is designed <\/em>to be sent back to us when it is worn out. We make new clothes from the materials recovered, and the cycle itself is renewable. Our products are designed to be returned and remade, new from old, again and again and again.\"\"
Every year 100 billion new items of clothing are produced while a truck full of clothing is burned, or buried in a landfill every second.<\/em> Just stop and think about that for a moment.<\/p>

Slowing fast fashion down is a good first step, but slowing it down won't stop it. Yet when we take the waste material at the end, and make new products from it at the start, it changes everything.<\/p>
